In 2014, Cameron was a Personal Trainer and Strenght and Conditioning Coach with a range of clients and was passionate about getting them results. But he became frustrated with the lack of care in mainstream fitness facilities, so he opened his studio in Beerwah.

Cameron continued to study, completing his Exercise Science degree, and was introduced to personalised health in 2015 by his now-wife, Kasia, who was part of a group beta testing the program.

Cameron was initially sceptical of the claims made, but after implementing some of the recommendations into his own training and seeing excellent results, he started to use the program with clients at the studio.

We are now the first gym in Australia to fully integrate this technology into our studio. We combine this cutting-edge technology with care and individualised coaching for our members to achieve outstanding results. 

The Technology 

We use ShaeFit, a science-based tool that uses a wide range of information to help us understand your unique body and make personalised recommendations. Your body on the outside directly reflects your health on the inside and the body displays signs and symptoms that can be used to assess its current state of health.

Data is collected via anthropomorphic measures and an in-depth, objective questionnaire. Then advanced algorithms calculates data specific to your body right now. Several scientific studies have validated ShaeFit's outputs and metrics. 

Health Types  

After your assessment, ShaeFit will calculate your position on the wheel based on your body's ratios. The wheel is divided into six main health types with similar hormones and characteristics. This is a great starting point for understanding your body. 

Your position on the wheel is one important factor we use to make recommendations. But, many other things are also considered, including age, gender, training history, family history and ancestry.

Group Fitness Classes

We run several group classes targeted at the strengths and requirements of different health types. Since the classes are divided into small groups of similar people, you will find an amazingly supportive community.

Ectos 

Typically recommended for Sensor & Crusader health types. This class is a lower-intensity class designed to improve movement and support health without stressing the nervous system. Music is a consistent 90 BPM to help them be in flow. 

Mesos

Typically recommended for Activator & Connector health types. This is a high intensity class with various training styles that embraces their natural explosiveness. This class is always varied with a curated playlist of new rock & pop music. 

Endon

Typically recommended for Guardian & Diplomat health types. This class embraces their body's natural ability for weight lifting. The music has a strong baseline with aroma diffusers running to stimulate their tribal roots. 

Cardio Kickboxing

Kickboxing fitness class. Suitable for most body types.

Kathleen's Story

When Kathleen moved to Beerwah in 2017, she was a devoted mother to her three teenagers and working part-time. But she had let her health decline and had slowly gained weight for many years.

Shortly after moving, she joined our group fitness classes. Her initial assessment determined she was a diplomat health type, so she joined our Endon fitness classes. We also worked with her to make specific changes to her diet, which included reducing her protein intake and changing her meal times.

Within 18 months, Kathleen had significantly improved her health and lost 36kg, and importantly she has been able to keep the weight off for four years and counting.
